Read more » We are delighted in this opportunity in forming the first junior football (soccer) club for the surrounding areas of Caroline Springs, Hillside, Taylors Hill and Burnside. Our name, colours and logo were derived from the children in the local schools and the club has a strong sense of community involvement. In fact, all of our committee members live in the local area and are committed in making the club a huge success. In forming the club the committee’s main goals are: * To develop and promote physical activity and positive social interactions for children, and to encourage them to be part of the community through playing the game of football (soccer). * To help support the local community by encouraging increased involvement by residents, organisations and groups. * To increase self-esteem and self-importance for children and as a consequence, reduce the likelihood of children participating in anti-social behaviour.
