Specs Comedy will be bringing about a change to the proceedings introducing a third main act to our comedy nights. This should make for an even better night of comedy.

The MC for the night will be Karen Bayley. The first ever female winner of the prestigious Comedy Store King Gong award, Karen was also a BBC New Comedy Awards Showcase final and Babycham Funny Women finalist, all when launching onto the UK comedy circuit in 2003. Brummie Karen has quickly picked up a whole host of rave reviews, comedy awards and references from her peers. Her material surprises with inspired and sparkling punchlines, with comic timing that is rarely less than brilliant. Already a rising star on TV and radio, she has appeared on The Last Word, Take The Mike, Sex on the Job, The Fred Macauley Show and a regular on Radio 5 Live.

Our first act of the night will be Paul Kerensa. Still only in his late twenties, Paul has, as a ginger man, battled both prejudice and apathy, and emerged to win ITV's 'Take The Mike' stand-up competition. In the same year, he appeared in four new act finals at the Edinburgh Festival, including the televised BBC New Comedy Awards. He writes for various sitcoms, including BBC1 hits Not Going Out and After You've Gone, as well as sketch shows such as Dead Ringers, ITV's CGI UK and BBC3's The Wrong Door. He was awarded the Titheridge Prize as BBC Radio Entertainment's in-house comedy writer, and has also written for The News Quiz, The Now Show, and countless others.

Second to perform will be Steve Day, a truly unique comedian - warm, witty and engaging whilst dealing with the dilemmas of being a deaf man in a hearing world. His stories of multiple children, wearing a suit and the problems caused by not knowing how words are pronounced will have audiences in raptures, and his uplifting tales of overcoming the obstacles in his path will leave crowds feeling inspired.

Our Headliner is the incredible Mike Gunn. Early in his career Mike was supporting the likes of Jo Brand and Alan Davies. He now headlines at all the top comedy venues in the UK and is rapidly reaching cult status on the circuit. He has performed internationally, taking his talent to Hong Kong, Ireland, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, New Zealand, and Saudi Arabia and to Australia at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, where he completed a five-week sell-out season.

Food & Drink: There are a range of curries available, Chilli con Carne and several alternatives and there is a cash bar facility.
