We’re deeply saddened and shocked to hear about the passing of David Bowie, we’re huge fans at Sound Control, so we’ve decided to do an all day event, with all ticket proceeds going to Cancer Research UK and Christies.

It’ll be a full day of bands covering their favourite Bowie songs, plus DJs from start to finish selecting tracks from his back catalogue.

There’ll also be multiple screens and TVs with classic Bowie footage, videos, films and more!

Playing their interpretation of David Bowie tracks are Amplifier, Danny Mahon, The Slow Readers Club (acoustic), The G-O-D, Feed The Kid, Liam McClair, Robbie Cavanagh, Chris Wise & The Hidden Revolution, Jo Dudderidge (The Travelling Band), From The Kites Of San Quentin, Jordan Allen, Mark & Stefan Hoyle, The Jade Assembly, Sam Carson, Sphelm, Louie Louie and the number one Bowie tribute band Bowie & Sons playing a full set! More to be added too, hold tight!

DJing on the day are Remake Remodel, Marc Riley (BBC 6 Music), Dermo (Northside), Steve Thorpe (Lowdown/Tangled), Martin The Mod.
