***The Rebel Bass Album Tour - exclusive London show***
Hot Cakes have thrown some pretty special parties at Jamm over the years, from their recent banging Christmas party to last summer's killer after-party for their annual summer boat rave on the Thames. This is a crew that loves to whip up a firestorm of breakbeat, jungle and bass to keep the bassbins burning 'til the sun comes up.
For their Easter party, Hot Cakes are incredibly proud to present the exclusive London date for the mighty Stanton Warriors' global Rebel Bass Album Tour, featuring the legendary London bass duo and a hand-picked selection of firing support acts.
Stanton Warriors are one of the biggest bass music acts playing today. For nearly 20-years the duo have rocked audiences all over the world, from Glastonbury to Burning Man, and from Coachella to Miami and Exit Festival. Described by Vice's Noisey as "brilliant bass music", and by Radio 1's Zane Lowe as "brutal, heavy and ridiculous", the Warriors will be performing an exclusive two-hour album launch party set.
Evil Nine are another iconic act who have always been about pushing the boundaries of breakbeats. From early releases on Adam Freeland's groundbreaking Marine Parade imprint, to their barnstorming Crooked album and recent critically-acclaimed Solar Black Rays EP on the Stantons' Punks label, this is a duo who never fail to keep developing their incisive and unmistakable sound.
Support comes from Mafia Kiss, recently cited by DJ Mag as one of the pioneers of the new breakbeat bass movement, Bristolian young gun Archive and Hot Cakes head honcho Jurassik. Room two is hosted by up and coming bass purveyors IMPRINT.
The promoters have now announced that the Very Special Hot Cakes guest is none other than the mighty Deekline!
