It’s survival of the funniest in RAW Comedy, when the nation’s comedy thrill seekers swing headfirst into the spotlight. With past competitors including Ronny Chieng, Hannah Gadsby, Josh Thomas, Celia Pacquola and Matt Okine, RAW Comedy is the place for new comedy talent to spread their wings – who knows where they might just land!
With the 2017 competition coming to a close with the National Final in Melbourne over the Easter weekend, The Sit Down Comedy Club presents The Best of RAW Comedy.
Showcasing ten of the brightest acts of the Queensland leg of the competition including Dalton Whiskey and Tracey Pelling, The Best of Raw Comedy will celebrate the future of the wonderfully vibrant and diverse Queensland Open-Mic Comedy scene.
From Robots, to Tinder, to Aircraft Engineering, this year’s competitors tackled some wonderfully original concepts and The Best if Raw Comedy gives each comedian a chance to perform their five minutes of stand-up, sketch or musical comedy without the pressure of timing and flashing lights!
