Six individuals from north somerset boasting five decades and eighteen children between them! Ern panes, steve downton, dan o hara, tom vowles, jack labbe and jo lee dean who share their music across the south west and beyond!
They have a joy and a big sense of fun that carries across in their performances and a genuine love for each other that most bands would be envious of. Hell they even share their sisters..
They create a warm, nostalgic old time sound that mixes the magic of the ozark mountain daredevils with newgrass and overtones of country swing with a whiff of rockabilly.
They are a countryside band for country people or people with the country in their hearts, they take themselves all over the vale in search of countryside devotees ready to embrace the love of the redhillbillies.

a 5-piece Rock/Americana/alt-country band from the UK’s south coast. Original songs combining distorted guitar and grizzled vocals, drenched in swathes of haunting and melodic pedal steel, give Thin Wire Fence their distinctive sound that can go from brooding to full tilt in the blink of an eye.
