The Hearts Museum will be hosting its first birthday party on Friday 29th September and supporters are invited to join in on the celebrations.
Since opening its doors for the first time last year, the Hearts Museum has shown itself to be a big hit with visitors of all ages. Situated in the Gorgie Stand, the museum tells the story of the club’s 143-year history through words, artefacts and video.
To mark a hugely successful first year, visitors are invited to come along and enjoy a glass of fizz and a jam tart in the Hearts Museum on Friday 29th September from 12pm to 4pm.
All the curators will be in attendance and a range of fun activities, kids competitions and raffles will run throughout the afternoon. The day will also mark the launch of the museum’s two new mascots, Hakon the Polar Bear and Ziggy the Puffin. The two newcomers are based on artefacts gifted to the club during past European trips.
There will also be opportunities for photos with some of the most treasured items in the museum archive.
Entry (via Tynecastle Terrace) is free of charge, however, donations are very much welcome.
