Party: Crackers Comedy Presents Matthew Broussard

Matthew first gave comedy a try while attending comedy clubs near his college town, and decided to give it a try. He was noticed by Cap City in Austin, Texas. They didn't know how new he was and never revealed that he was, but a Comedy Central showcase came up and they added him last minute. It was the first showcase he did and he got it while having no representation and no real experience in comedy - a rarity in the comedy world. He flew out to Los Angeles, California and performed a terrible set for the Comedy Central team. Yet, he discovered many resources in case he ever got fired from his day job, he could still have stability living as a comedian.

After getting work as a comedian, he began to get noticed in his performances and became part of Adam DeVine's House Party had opportunities lined up. His boss allowed him to keep his job and work remotely. He was not ready to lose his day job as it mean having to define himself as a comedian. When he was finally fired, he said to himself: “Okay, I guess I have to go all out with this.”

He became a part of many projects such as: The LEAGUE, The Mindy Project, Guy Code, which included his own half hour special which premiered on Comedy Central in 2016.

Whenever he bombs as a comedian, he says that he likes to go home and Google application forms for Electrical engineering master's program for he feels like he is on borrowed time.
