Edmond Bilal Band is the beautiful encounter between Paul Robert [saxophones], Simon Chavaillon [piano], Mathias Monseigne [guitare & bass] and Curtis Efoua [drums] at Agen and Bordeaux Conservatories. Four friends who harness on stage an energy that their music invite to share and dance. They communicate their love of every type of music in joy, malice and humor.
Led by groove, improvisation and composition are melting in order to connect acoustic and electric.
Since 2010, the group has performed in several festivals and concert halls, firstly in Aquitaine - Les 24 heures du Swing de Monségur (33), Saint Emilion Jazz Festival (33) -, then they rapidly conquered France’s stages - Edmond Bilal Band performs every year since 2012 for a sixty show during the Jazz in Marciac Festival (32)- and in Europe - London, Berlin, Bucarest...
Through meetings, Edmond Bilal Band has grown outside the box, by constantly reinventing itself in front of a public which is raising at each performance.
After having auto-produced 3 E.P., in October 2015, Edmond Bilal Band has been recording its album in Dover (KETV Studios - England). It should be out soon.
