Prior to becoming the recognisable name he is now, Baytek was a budding bedroom producer from the age of 14. He took notes from the likes of Porter Robinson before hitting the club rave scene when he finally came of age and his eyes were opened to a broader range of genres, gaining inspiration from artists like Chris Lorenzo and Hybrid Theory.
Baytek’s career whilst still fresh, having only been in the dance music scene for just over a year has gained ground quickly. He started out playing local gigs on the South Coast and now headlines substantial parties such as Cakes in Sydney and Deja Vu in Wollongong as well as completing two national tours and performing at numerous festivals including Australia’s largest, Stereosonic Sydney.
Baytek was born into the Unknown Records family in 2013, becoming a big hitter on the label right from the very start. Baytek always causes a storm with each release he drops on the Unknown label and with his club shows at the Unknown parties.
